BMI’s project at 198 Mornington St. in Stratford transforms a vacant PeopleCare nursing home into a modern 15-unit apartment building. By re-zoning the existing structure for residential use, the renovation offers four new studio, seven new one-bedroom, and four new two-bedroom apartments to Stratford’s high-demand housing market.
Heritage Renovation
This beautiful Victorian building has a rich history as the former home of Stratford Mayor William Gordon in the early 1900s. Our adaptive reuse approach carefully preserves much of the original layout and retains many of the architectural details that give the building its unique character.
