A multimodal land hub advancing regional economic development in the logistic, natural resource, agricultural, and food sectors.
Read moreO’Clay is a field-to-fork venture dedicated to addressing the logistical challenges faced by remote and underserved communities in Northern Ontario where fresh food options are limited and monopolistic pricing market structures are prevalent. O'Clay's initiative works to simplify the logistics of food transportation while providing stable markets for farmers in Northern and Southern Ontario.
Together, BMI and O'Clay are working to transform the food supply chain, making it a conduit for community development and well-being.
In July 2024, O’Clay launched its first official food run to Moosonee and Moose Factory, bringing fresh food from Southern Ontario to Northern Communities and completely sold out. The overwhelming demand transformed a monthly trip into a bi-weekly endeavor. But O’Clay’s vision extends beyond that. They aim to grow food in Iroquois Falls, using their land as a food logistics hub for Northern Ontario.
